Delhi made a strong start as they chased down the Chennai Super Kings. But after Prithvi Shaw returned, the wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Iyer 2, Pant 15, Ripal Patel 18 and Ashwin could score just 2 runs before going back. Opener Shikhar Dhawan kept one side in check and made a promising 39 off 35 balls. But taking his wicket, Chennai signaled a super comeback. The picture was that the match was leaning towards Chennai.
