IPL 2021 Abu Dhabi:  Chennai vs Rajasthan: Rajasthan Royals’s young opener Yashsvi Jaiswal’s and Shivam Dube’s half-centuries proved overshadowing over Chennai’s Ruturaj Gaikwad. Rajasthan Royals overcame Chennai Super Kings’ 190-run target with 7 wickets and 15 balls to spare. With this victory, Rajasthan has kept its challenge alive in the tournament. Evin Lewis and Yashsvi Jaiswal gave the team an aggressive start. Both scored 77 off 32 balls for the first wicket. Shardul Thakur gave the Chennai Super Kings their first success with Lewis’s wicket. He contributed 27 off 12 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. Successful Jaiswal, on the other hand, hit 50 off 21 balls.

After the two openers returned to work, Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube put on an 89-run stand for the third wicket. Sanju returned with 28 off 24 balls. Shivam Dube then teamed up with Glee Phillips to lead the team to victory. Dube hit an unbeaten 64 off 42 balls with four fours and four sixes. Glenn Phillips, on the other hand, remained unbeaten on 14 off 8 balls.

Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad’s unbeaten 101 and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s unbeaten 32 off 15 balls helped Chennai reach 189 for four in the allotted 20 overs. Faf Duplessis scored 25, Suresh Raina 3, Moin Ali 21 and Ambati Rayudu 2. Rahul Tewatia was the top wicket taker for Rajasthan with 3 wickets. Chetan Sakariya got one wicket.

Ruturaj Gaikwad of CSK is declared Man of the Match for his unbeaten 101 in 60 balls.
