PCB Reveals Babar Azam and Inzamam-ul-Haq’s Independence Following Pakistan’s Three Losses in Cricket World Cup 2023

Post the three consecutive losses in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reaching out to fans and former cricketers for support. Despite the setbacks, Babar Azam and his team still have four matches left to play in the league stage, all of which will take place in India. After starting the campaign with two wins, Pakistan has faced defeats against India, Australia, and a lower-ranked Afghanistan.

The loss to Afghanistan has not only affected Pakistan’s World Cup campaign, but has also damaged the players’ morale. Fans back home, including some past greats, have criticized Babar Azam for his leadership and for taking an ‘unfit’ team to the World Cup. The team’s overall performance in batting, bowling, and fielding has left fans with little hope for a revival in the tournament.

In response to the criticism and negativity surrounding the Pakistan cricket team, the PCB has released a statement urging fans to continue supporting Captain Babar Azam and the entire team. The board acknowledges the emotions and sentiments of the fans, and hopes that the cricketing fraternity will stand by the team during this challenging time.

The statement also mentions that both Babar Azam and chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq were given the freedom to choose the squad for the World Cup. The board assures that decisions will be made in the best interest of Pakistan cricket, based on the team’s performance in the tournament.

The PCB emphasizes the need for support as Babar Azam and his team aim to make a triumphant comeback in the World Cup. However, the road ahead will not be easy. Pakistan’s next four matches are against strong teams like South Africa, New Zealand, England, and Bangladesh. South Africa and New Zealand are in top form, while England and Bangladesh have been struggling. As the tournament progresses, all teams will be determined to finish on a high and secure a spot in the semifinals.
