France – Game plan
France, the defending champions will be entering the tournament with lots of hope. Team had bad run in recent past with only one win in six competitive matches. They have the the deepest pool of talent to pick from but the performance of the whole squad will be looked at when team will take on Australia in their first group match.
The midfield that triumphed at Russia 2018 will be completely changed due to injured Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kanté. France has many talented players – Real Madrid’s Aurélien Tchouaméni, Adrien Rabiot, Mattéo Guendouzi and Youssouf Fofana. Fofana and Guendouzi are the progressive options but Rabiot will have the edge given his experience.
From the moment I choose players, it means that I trust them…. If they’re selected, they have everything necessary to play at the top level.

France Team Jersey
France team will be donning navy blue home and white away shirts.
The French jerseys are the celebration of France Nouveau, or New France—a fusion of the country’s heritage and future.
The home shirt has oak leaf and olive branch pattern which represents strength, solidarity and peace. Shirts also have classic French design cues like a tricolor insert on the short, a jacquard sock and cuff and gold detailing.
The away jersey graphic is inspired by French toile de Jouy. It is made up of iconic French and Les Bleus imagery like the Cockerel, botanicals, the Arc de Triomphe and Clairefontaine.
